CBS Ondemand no comparison to iTunes

CBS is introducing a new program called ondemand where you can purchase their shows (currently only Survivor). You can't burn DVDs, put it on a portable media player and it takes 30-45 minutes to download. This is a sad attempt to compete with iTunes.

At today's special event the first product Apple introduced was the new Intel Mac Mini. The low end Mac mini system will be available today and has a 1.5GHz Core Solo system with 667MHz bus, 512MB RAM, 60GB SATA hard drive and "Combo" DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive for $599.

Project Runway on iTunes

Though there is still no sign of other Bravo shows on iTunes you can now buy Project Runway. So far they only have one episode titled "Reunion" and a trailer for the show. Hopefully we will soon see other Bravo hits such as Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

NBC and iTunes Offering Free Conviction Pilot Episode

Showtime on iTunes and More

Showtime has joined iTunes today. Three shows (Weeds, Sleeper Cell, and Fat Actress) are now available on the iTunes music store. NBC has started selling the show The Biggest Loser on iTunes as well. This all coincides with the Billion Song Contest.
